In Chinese culture, every year has an animal mascot. It's the "year of the monkey," for example, or the year of the rooster. For NaturalNews, 2012 is the year of consciousness (or conscious awakening, in a sense).

Does this mean we're going to abandon the mundane daily news of planet earth and float off into la-la land where we start chanting mantras and worshipping self-proclaimed enlightened gurus? Hardly. In fact, in 2012 I want to talk with you about what I call grounded consciousness. Or "holistic consciousness."

And why? Because it is the lack of consciousness that's behind every corporate crime, government conspiracy, political corruption, Big Pharma scheme and environmental crime that takes place on our planet. Those who lack consciousness engage in "you versus me" crimes of selfishness -- stealing, exploiting, destroying, deceiving -- yet such behaviors come from a place of ignorance about consciousness and the universe around us.

Let me make this really practical and easy to understand by invoking characters from popular culture:

Yoda taught Luke Skywalker that all things are connected. "The Force," as he explained it, flowed through all living things and bound them together in a kind of mystical universal energy. George Lucas was right on the mark when creating this fictional character, because "The Force" really does exist, and it's made of consciousness.

It is a sense of not just self awareness but of connectedness with other living things. The truly conscious person is not merely "awakened" about their own existence, but is fully aware and even spiritually attuned to the reality that we are not really separate from other living things around us.

Sure, we have our own individual ideas, egos, memories and actions. So we are still individuated

This isn't some fleety, high-minded blabbery. It's real. It's practical. Allow me to give you an example:

Suppose a selfish, low-consciousness corporate CEO says, "I'm going to dump this toxic waste into the river because that saves ME money, and it makes ME more profits." So he dumps the waste into the river.

Downstream, a billion living creatures start to become damaged by the toxic waste: The fish, frogs, turtles, trees, plants and perhaps even cities full of people who use the river as their water supply. This, in turn, creates "a disturbance in the Force," as Obiwan described it in Star Wars. The disturbance spreads sickness, disease and dysfunction. That dysfunction inevitably makes its way back to that same corporate CEO -- perhaps the mutated offspring of some woman who drank the polluted water grows up and becomes a violent criminal who car-jacks the CEOs granddaughter and murders her in the process. While the CEO will decry "how terribly violent our world has become," he will disavow the truth that he poisoned the world and made it more destructive.

The violence that happened to his daughter was the inevitable result of his own acts of violence unleashed upon the world through toxic chemicals.

Even individuated, "we" still share a common thread

From the point of view of universal consciousness, there is no "I" -- there is only "we." And WE are affected by everything that each one of us does. If you take pharmaceuticals, you are contributing to the destruction of the planet because those chemical medications pass through your body and get flushed down the toilet where they chemically pollute the planet. Someone who says, "I need these antidepressants so I take them" is really saying "screw the planet, I am willing to poison the world in order to try to mask my own symptoms of depression with a toxic chemical."

So, you see, the corporate CEO who pollutes the planet is not much different from the 40-year-old housewife who feels depressed and pops pharmaceuticals throughout the day. Both are operating out of an illusory sense of what I call spiritual isolationism -- the false belief that we are disconnected from our world (and from each other) and that we can do whatever we wish as long as it helps us in the short term, regardless of what it does to other living, conscious beings in the long term.

This is the stunted point of view from which all deception is based -- all wars, GMO contamination, government conspiracies and corporate poisoning of the people is conducted from this place of spiritual isolationism.

Spiritual integration, in contrast, is what you might call the process by which a person comes to a sense of self awareness about the relationships between all living things. "Awakening" is integration. It's also the path of the Jedi, to use the Star Wars metaphor again, because it relies on using the Force as an ally in the protection of life.

The spiritual (Jedi) farmer

A woman who grows a garden is a spiritual farmer in that she gives new life to seeds. When a plant creates a seed, at first that seed is just a biological machine held in stasis, awaiting the right moment to sprout. When a seed sprouts, consciousness enters the plant in the same way that a soul enters the developing fetus right after the moment of fertilization.

Both a human fetus and a garden seedling are conscious beings with a sense of awareness, a (limited) sense of self, a functioning nervous system and increasingly complex awareness of its immediate environment.

The idea that plants have consciousness has been taught throughout many early human civilizations, of course. The American Indians believed this, as did the Inca. Indians believed the desert Saguaro cacti were sacred beings, watchers over the land. And when you're in the presence of these amazing beings, you can't help but agree with them.

Trees have nervous systems. Weeds in your back yard engage in social networking through the chemical transmission of messages about external threats. A blade of grass may not have the physical brain of a human being, but it has what I call "a sliver of consciousness." That doesn't mean I feel guilty mowing the lawn, but it does mean I carefully consider my actions when altering any natural landscape, removing trees, planting trees, and tending the garden.

As humans, we are especially gifted with mobility that allows us to be caretakers for other forms of conscious life, including both plants and animals. We have the arms and legs that trees don't (except in Lord of the Rings, I suppose). So we can move around, meaning we can create life (plant seeds), or we can destroy life (GMOs).

My point in all this is that the destruction of life always comes from a place of spiritual ignorance. A person who could callously and mindlessly destroy life (or poison the planet with GMOs, for example) is a person operating from a total lack of understanding about the consciousness that ties us all together. When Israelis say they want to kill Palestinians (or vice-versa), this is done from a place of giving in to the "dark side" of the Force -- the seductive, destructive side, which seems powerful at first but is actually a sign of spiritual weakness.

To harm another human being, as the Buddhists say, is to harm yourself. Why is that true? Because underneath the individuation and the ego, there flows a current of connected consciousness. It flows like a river through all living systems. To destroy life is to disrupt the flow of that river -- an act that inevitably darkens your own reality as well. There is no act of violence that is undertaken in isolation. All acts of both violence and compassion are reflected (and even magnified) throughout the fabric of reality. This idea is echoed across all world religions, including Christianity.

Police state fear is only possible from a place of low consciousness

An important point to understand in all this is that no society has yet achieved the recognition of consciousness that exists throughout all living systems. Our human societies remain in their infantile stage, operating from a place of individuated ego, and lacking the deeper understanding of connectedness that becomes obvious when the true nature of consciousness is firmly grasped.

War is the ultimate expression of disconnectedness. When one nation decides to murder the people of another nation, this is an act of extreme ignorance tempered by anger and wrapped in illusion.

Police states -- like the one into which the USA is now descending -- are the day-to-day expression of disconnectedness and ego. Think about the whole message of the terror-driven police state: YOU might be a terrorist. So I, the TSA agent or the federal law enforcement agent, must destroy you before you can destroy me. This is the philosophical foundation of Darth Vader.

So rather than working on ways to stop creating enemies -- or ways to nurture peace, liberty and prosperity -- the police state government is intent on isolating and separating people, creating division and fear that drives people apart. Whereas peace is achieved through the integration of cultures (i.e. western white people going to visit the mosques of Islam, to understand their culture better), terrorism is achieved through the spreading of suspicion and paranoia that drives people away from each other in fear while concentrating power into the hands of the "Dark Lords" (evil tyrants like Janet Napolitano, who only lacks a black cape and a loud respirator).

This is the whole point of the "If you see something, say something" campaign that depict white people, black people, and brown people as possible terror suspects to be treated with total paranoia. The government, you see, is in the business of lowering consciousness and creating division instead of peace. Peace pulls power away from governments and puts it into the hands of the People. War and fear, on the other hand, keeps power concentrate in the hands of government.

Love and compassion, on the other hand, are the vibes of raising consciousness and creating mutual respect. Governments do not teach love and compassion because such concepts are self destructive to governments.

The way out of terrorism, war and government tyranny

All this makes the pathway out of terrorism, war and fear rather obvious. You cannot "fight" tyranny and win with force. Tyranny thrives on the death, the destruction and the fear that goes with that application of force. Tyranny can truly only be conquered by awakening people to the greater truths about who they are, how they are connected, and how they all experience holographic fragments of the same stream of consciousness that flows through all living things.

The way to stop war, in other words, is to teach those who commit war so that they realize they have been operating under the illusion of false individuation. A cat might initially be scared by its own shadow on the wall -- and it might attack that shadow -- but once it realizes the shadow is simply an expression of itself, it recognizes the foolishness of fighting its own shadow, and it calmly walks away.

On our planet today, when one nation commits murder (war) against another nation, it is fighting its own shadow, and the solution to such shadow fighting is not to "build bigger bombs," but to raise awareness of the situation so that those involved both realize the silliness of it all and decide to walk away, embarrassed of how childish their actions now seem.

The end of government deception, corporate conspiracies, never-ending war, mass murder, Big Pharma's poisoning of the world, and even day-to-day muggings is found not simply in physical security, but in conscious awakening.

Does this mean you should stop thinking about self defense preparedness and start meditating away all your problems? Absolutely not: Until all the other people are also spiritually awakened, you must take prudent, practical measures to protect yourself and your family in the physical world. But as you do so, strive to teach and exemplify an "awakened" course of action that avoids violence and encourages people to connect with the deeper, higher truths of who they really are (and how they're connected to everything else).

Carry a stick, in other words, but use it to support your neighbor rather than strike them down.

We want to share with you what is our largest and most sophisticated “art project” to date. What started out as a single medicine wheel evolved into an n-dimensional “complex” that’s 30 metres long and consists of over 1300 rocks, at least a metric ton of sand, and is the product of hundreds of hours of intensive work, mainly hauling, clearing, land-scaping and construction.

As time seems to go by, and I reflect on exactly what we did with this, the implications and actuality become increasingly astounding. This posting is therefore not an exhaustive exposition but only an introductory presentation. I’m working on a piece of art that will be a painting/poster as well as schematic/blue-print, with text, of our “Mother Earth Temple”, it’s various dimensions, proportions, components, and alignments; for now, here are a few notes and photos. Unlike the pyramids and temples of ancient ‘civilizations’, our “complex” is a voluntarily ephemeral, human-scale and living expression of cosmic and indigenous creativity built by individual artists of their own free will, for no “reasons” that make sense to a “civilized” mind.

A unique combination of circumstances and synchronicities brought this into being, in terms of ‘when’, ‘where’, ‘how’ and ‘why’. Our “complex” is not just a ‘work of art’ or ‘landscape architecture’ project as such, but is a form of “geo-technology” which is actively processing and resonating with many levels of energy and consciousness, in real time, i.e., now, even in our absence. It’s the only “complex” of its kind of the planet. Liesbet and I are open to the possibility of creating similar “complexes” for the right people, wherever that might be.

During our first visit to ‘Balarnia’ in early 2009 we were inspired to construct our first medicine wheel, which is a native American tradition, a stone mandala on the ground, in and/or around which they conduct sacred ceremonies.

Our tendency with approaching any cosmic or indigenous spirituality or cosmology is to be open to it, to discover what we resonate with, while respecting the fact that aspects we do not understand may have meaning for or be understood by others in ways beyond our comprehension. We honour all wisdom and try to understand and integrate as much as we can. With respect to medicine wheels, for example, we honour the “wisdom of the circle” and of the “sacred hoop.” We think of ours as stone mandalas honouring Mother Earth and the spirit of all indigenous peoples; they are a focus of consciousness and a portal, if you will, to dimensions of life, the dream-time, and eternal creativity.

Over the next two and a half years we constructed six more medicine wheels on friends’ land in various parts of Australia and New Zealand.

When we returned to ‘Balarnia’ in July the first thing we did was to check on our old medicine wheel. She was still there, now a ‘relic’ worn by the elements but holding up nonetheless. Over the coming weeks, we gradually renovated and rejuvenated her, removing unwanted vegetation, bringing in fresh sand, restoring all the rocks to their proper positions, adding more stone circles, and re-painting the symbol stones.

Upon arriving at ‘Balarnia’ we imagined that we’d live more or less as we had in 2009, doing lots of art, reading and writing, and communing with nature in a quiet and relaxed way. Arni was always asking me if I were going to “write my book” when I was there; indeed, I had been looking forward to a few weeks or months perhaps to do just this.

My goal of writing and our dreams of relaxation were not, however, to be the reality. Unbeknownst to us, Arni had moved from where he was living before and was now in the ‘pavilion’, the front area where Liesbet and I had lived in 2009. He put us back in the ‘guest house’, one of the older buildings he’d built. At first we were shocked, because, unlike the ‘Pavilion’, this place hadn’t been lived in at all for years, and for any length of time ever. Not that it’s not a very cool place by design; it’s just that due to time, nature and neglect, the ‘guest house’ was only marginally habitable in its present form. Therefore, we set out to make the place nice and fit for us to live in comfortably and happily. This turned out to be a TREMENDOUS amount of work, as it all began to merge with collecting rain water and creating gardens to grow our own food. Gloves, shovel, wheel-barrow, and using my own personal ‘geo-engineering’ bio-technology filled all daylight hours of coming weeks. This is another very interesting story that will have to wait for my ‘journale de ‘Balarnia.’”

What happened was that the spirit of ‘Balarnia’, who is in fact the spirit of the dream-time and of all indigenous realities, called on us in very special ways, ways that we didn’t even realize for a long time. We have always paid close attention to what is happening around us, with Mother Earth and humanity, and because we live in constant motion, we notice changes more than most people. In recent years and months we’d been witnessing very disturbing trends and events in the domain of human activity and its effects on the Earth and ourselves.

We were so thankful to be back at ‘Balarnia’, for however long we could stay, as there not only could we live in almost total isolation from ‘civilization’, we could be away from all forms of electricity and all forms of human noise, on land that had never been farmed, logged, or poisoned, and was in no immediate danger.

We decided to dedicate our time there to living as if our survival depended on what we did there, to make a full-on effort to push the limits of what we could do in terms of growing our own food, living simply yet creatively. We sought to BE the reality we would like to see people living, a ‘reality’ that actually makes sense because, as we see it, humanity is no longer “on the brink”, we are going over the edge. “Enlightened” people and organizations purporting to be about “protecting the environment” or “attaining higher consciousness” all say things that sound good ‘on paper’, but at the end of the day, they ALL get in their SUV, drive to their big house, turn on the television, cook up some steak or sea-food, and do some ‘smart banking’ on their mobile phones.

The legendary linguist Korzybski poignantly observed that “the map is not the territory.” The current “mental operating environment” of “civilized” humanity enables, or even exhorts, us to live in our maps, instead of the real world, to eat our menus rather than real food; to be less and less human just as the world around us becomes less and less natural.

Our goal at ‘Balarnia’ was to live in the real world as fully as possible, to spend our time and energy on things that made sense with respect to our highest knowledge and awareness. So in addition to living at a very low level of energy consumption, an extremely high work-output level, growing our own food, and collecting our own rain water, we honoured indigenous tradition, cosmic creativity and our spiritual path through being with nature and through the construction of our “Mother Earth Temple.” We tried to show the Great Spirit that the “people of one heart” were alive and well, at least at ‘Balarnia.’

The very first thing we did upon arrival other than clean up and gather fire wood was to make another medicine wheel in front of our house. I was somehow inspired to build a “Djed pillar” to go in the centre. The Egyptian new year, 23 July, was only four days away and I figured this would be an excellent opportunity to “raise the Djed”, possibly the first time this may have been done in the southern hemisphere.

The Djed pillar is both symbol and ceremony, the most powerful and esoteric in ancient Egyptian cosmology. It represents the back-bone of Osiris, signifies cosmic stability and regeneration, and is done at crucial moments of history, sacred “windows of time” and junctions of cycles.

I constructed our Djed pillar from old pvc piping, wooden cable spools and an old insulator made of ceramic and glass. We raised it on the Egyptian new year, and saw some dolphins later that day, the first time we’d ever seen any at ‘Balarnia.’ The next day we saw some chem-trails, but some unusual “organic cloud beings” appeared and drove the chem-trails out of the sky. We started to realize that “raising the Djed” seemed to have activated a higher level of cosmic coolness, and wondered if in fact we were becoming true “Djedi”?

As we began making the medicine wheel around the Djed pillar, and as I began to clear out the space in front of our house, the concept of the chakras flashed in my mind, and I was inspired now to use the available space for the construction of seven medicine wheels, one for each chakra.

We centered the red/root chakra on a regenerating eucalyptus tree about 30 metres away, and began to visualize how it would look, marking the various chakra centres with metal rods.

Right where the heart chakra should be was the stump of an old eucalyptus tree that Arni had cut down years before. At first I was going to remove the stump, but then realized that it should be integrated into the design, which now included a kiva to be built centred on the heart chakra. This was all highly symbolic, as the Djed pillar is related to the concept of a “world tree” common to many mythologies; having a stump at the heart chakra symbolized the way that humanity had cut itself off from nature, but a healthy regenerating tree at the root chakra symbolized the renewal of life, the re-birth of the ‘world tree’, reaching up through the chakras with the “xylem and phloem of kundalini” to the Djed pillar at the crown/violet chakra. If humanity opens its heart to Mother Earth, maybe the old stump will begin to regenerate into a healthy tree at the heart chakra!!!

How cool this was all becoming! Beyond being simply stone mandalas on the ground, this project was extending first into three and then into several more dimensions! The Djed pillar was aimed at the zenith, where we could see the Hunab Ku just after dark in the first few weeks we were there; I painted an ascending spectrum on the pillar, and installed a rod pointed at the south celestial pole, which is in fact the central axis of the Earth’s magnetic fields. The Hunab Ku is the Mayan name for the centre of the galaxy; it is in the vicinity of a globular cluster between Sagittarius and the tail of Scorpio. The Mayans believe that emanations from the Hunab Ku create all the stars of the galaxy, and therefore all planets, all life, all consciousness.

A kiva is another native American tradition, a circular structure built more or less down in the ground in which meetings and ceremonies would be held. Ours was made of lumber lying around, much of it from old shipping pallets. The stump became part of the kiva structure. I decided to build it as a hexagon in honour of the symmetry of the snow-flake, and filled the roof with sand, on which was a unique stone medicine wheel consisting in part of a cycle of 28 lunar-phase rocks.

Each medicine wheel/chakra has a large rock in the corresponding colour, with the Sanskrit name and symbol of the chakra, as well as the Chinese name of the colour; each wheel also has several more rocks painted with “geo-harmonic” glyphs, along the same line as the “Gaiodes” rocks in our Darwin medicine wheel from last year.

The entire complex basically evolved and “grew” much like a living thing; it was completed only a couple weeks before we had to leave. We “activated” it in many ways, but primarily through burning sage, using the “ancient harmonic languages”, and focusing our thoughts and intent using the dream-catcher, as well as playing music inside the “sacred space” of the kiva, which we had come to think of as the “helm” or “command module” of the entire complex, which physically resembles both a crop circle and the interstellar spacecraft Discovery in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

We tried to anchor a vortex of cosmic harmony within our micro-environment of oneness with nature. We strove to honour and to maintain the essence of all sacred indigenous ceremonies aimed at preserving and strengthening life in all forms, to recognize and acknowledge all ancestors, nature devas and fellow beings of all dimensions, in particular, the spirits of all who have been mercilessly killed by the Wasichu mentality over the past five thousand years.

We realized that this “complex” was not actually built for people; if no one ever sees it it won’t matter, because it’s there as a sacred space for beings of love from all dimensions, all times, spaces and realities. Our purpose was to show the world of spirit, local and non-local, that we DO care about them, we DO love them, and we WANT them to remain with us and have a nice place to dwell.

We think of it as a very special and unique “neo-shamanic poly-indigenous geo-cosmic technology” (NeSh-PoIn GeCoTech) that is self-sustaining and powered by the energies of Taiowa (the sun), Kuwaqatsi (Mother Earth), the Hunab Ku (centre of the galaxy). It is a multi-dimensional transducer of emanations and consciousness; think of it as a form of ‘radio transmitter’ broadcasting on the wavelengths of water-based life, from the Earth and other planets, amplifying the messages from the whales and dolphins and translating these frequency spectra into vibrations that resonate with the spiritual structure of humanity. When you look at these photos, and/or visualize it in your mind’s eye, you are holomorphically connected to these vibrations and can then draw on this power to raise your own vibration, amplify your own creativity, and navigate your highest spiritual path. Who knows, our “complex” might even function as a sort of “geo-tronic anti-H.A.A.R.P. shield!” By tuning into our “Mother Earth Temple” you can raise your own “inner Djed” and balance your chakras. You might even be inspired to paint some rocks or build a stone medicine wheel yourself, or to get Liesbet and me to come and build one for you!

What really put this whole project into perspective was the realization that some less-mainstream “2012” researchers, specifically Carl Calleman, have been saying that, according to their understanding of the Mayan calendar, the Baktun cycle actually closes on 28 October 2011, not 21 December 2012.

"Human consciousness will continue to be transformed step by step in accordance with this plan until we come to the real end date of the process of creation, October 28, 2011. At this date the highest quantum state of the universe will be attained (13.13.13.13.13.13.13.13.13 13 Ahau) when the shifts disrupting the harmony will come to an end."

I know Carl and he's made some very valuable contributions to "all things Mayan." Although some of his ideas about "life after 2012" seem a bit silly or naive, it's very significant that, through suggesting that all these huge cycles may have 'ended'/'began again' ALREADY. I was never a fan of specific dates or times; to me, it's all about "windows of alignment" if you insist on thinking in terms of 'time' and 'space' rather than qualities of consciousness (or UNconsciousness, which seems to be more abundant).

I never thought of this until mid-November, but it made perfect sense: the universe had called on us during one of the most powerful “sacred moments of time” that could be experienced in not only a human life-time, but a human “civilization” epoch as well, to make real the absolute best we could come up with in terms of what it means to be a human being.

This is what we did at ‘Balarnia.’ We lived as simply and powerfully as possible, thankful for the abundance of fresh food and rain water (for billions of humans, these would be worth FAR more than any amount of gold), clean air and beautiful nature, the community of “mitakuye oyasin” who are our friends of all kingdoms, and honoured the highest creativity we have access to with our “Mother Earth Temple.”

Through the "hundredth monkey effect" maybe we've somehow made it easier for other people to "live simply so that others may simply live" and to mobilize their highest levels of creativity towards the well-being of Mother Earth and all her passengers/crew.

We’re a step ahead: while many people are passively waiting for the “world to end” in December of next year, we were guided to forge ahead into the “new creation” already, armed with sand, stone, paint, shovel, wheel-barrow…and our very own “ultimate technology.”

Aldous Huxley and John C. Lilly were to me two of the top visionary minds of the 20th century, among humans, that is. To a lot of people, their names are associated with psychedelic drugs and “altered states” of consciousness; they each logged many hours under the influence of various “mind manifesting” molecules, and, being the highly evolved beings they are, were able to bring back extremely valuable insights from “non-ordinary” dimensions of reality. Huxley’s Doors of Perception and Lilly’s Centre of the Cyclone are veritable bibles of psychedelia. In addition, they each engaged in scientific, literary and creative endeavours in general in many different areas, and they both authored dozens of books and articles. This short presentation is not an attempt to share the breadth and depth of these two Einsteinian minds, but to provide an introduction to their work and contributions towards the on-going re-navigation of the human process that is of critical importance now.

What stands out most to me of Huxley’s work is not Brave New World, perhaps his best known book, a “negative utopia” parallel to but different from Orwell’s 1984, but his non-fiction follow-up, Brave New World Revisited. In this book he examines his “brave new world” scenario decades later, and lucidly delineates how developments in the real world have unfolded relative to his vision. This book is in many ways a blue-print of a lot that is unfolding in the world at this time, 50 years later, particularly the chapters on propaganda in democracies and dictatorships.

John Lilly’s explorations with psychedelics sprung from his communication research with dolphins, and it’s this work for which he is best known. I consider him to be one of my most important teachers, and am honoured that I not only got to meet and talk with him several times, in California in the late 70’s and early 80’s, but also wrote an in-depth article at his request on their dolphin work for a Bay area magazine. Most significantly, I was present at the Human/Dolphin Foundation lab on the day that two dolphins, Joe and Rosie, arrived from the Gulf of Mexico; later on I got to swim with them and play them some recorded jazz through the state-of-the-art computer system that shifted the frequency range of the sound from ours into theirs. This was a pretty mind-blowing experience. Ever since then the whales and dolphins have been my biggest heroes on this planet and a large part of our work as full-spectrum artists and information activists concerns the human threat to the well-being of cetaceans as well as an attempt to understand who they are as fellow sentient beings here on Mother Earth.

Lilly’s book The Mind of the Dolphin: A Non-Human Intelligence is an epistemological and psychological landmark towards a profound understanding not only of “other beings” who have been on this planet far longer than we have, but even more importantly, towards a deeper understanding of the extreme limitations that we, homo sapiens, “man, the wise”, face in any efforts to get outside the species-wide hallucination we call “reality.” Lilly’s central hypothesis was that if we can’t even respect or “communicate” with fellow sentient mammals with brains more highly evolved than our own, on the same planet as us, what possible chance could we have to comprehend in any way “beings from another world” or planet.

I am afraid that both Aldous Huxley and John C. Lilly would shudder in disbelief at how the world has changed since their dimensional shifts, and particularly, not only how the human attack on the whales has grown exponentially, but also the human attack on humanity and the Earth herself...all facilitated by high technology under-going uncontrolled metastasis.

Lilly’s most chilling observation was that a battle was occurring on Earth at this time, between two forms of “life”: water-based life formed from carbon and DNA, which is basically life as we know her; and what he called the “solid-state intelligence”, an electronic “life-form” based on silicon that cannot function in the presence of water. He believed, or rather witnessed, how the “solid-state entity” currently needs humans to construct it, since it is not “alive” in the sense of being able to reproduce or repair itself, and how the “sse” manipulated human affairs below our level of awareness to generate conflict and warfare of man against man and man against cetacean. Lilly believed that the whales and dolphins acted as ‘repeater stations’ for signals from other planets with water-based life in our galaxy. It’s a very interesting hypothesis: look around at how much of our damage to the Earth, to ourselves, and to the whales is made possible because of sophisticated electronic technological systems, all based on computers, and now including the “sci-fi” technetronic weapons systems like H.A.A.R.P. The U.S. Navy is truly the greatest enemy of the cetaceans, by several orders of magnitude; not only do they operate the H.A.A.R.P. network but also the LFAS, “low-frequency active sonar” that is exterminating cetaceans around the world.

“There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution.”

It seems to me that the nature of the ultimate revolution with which we are now faced is precisely this: That we are in process of developing a whole series of techniques which will enable the controlling oligarchy who have always existed and presumably will always exist to get people to love their servitude. This is the, it seems to me, the ultimate in malevolent revolutions shall we say, and this is a problem which has interested me many years and about which I wrote thirty years ago, a fable, Brave New World, which is an account of society making use of all the devices available and some of the devices which I imagined to be possible making use of them in order to, first of all, to standardize the population, to iron out inconvenient human differences, to create, to say, mass produced models of human beings arranged in some sort of scientific caste system. Since then, I have continued to be extremely interested in this problem and I have noticed with increasing dismay a number of the predictions which were purely fantastic when I made them thirty years ago have come true or seem in process of coming true. A number of techniques about which I talked seem to be here already. And there seems to be a general movement in the direction of this kind of ultimate revolution, a method of control by which a people can be made to enjoy a state of affairs by which any decent standard they ought not to enjoy. “Solid State Intelligence or SSI is a malevolent entity described by John C. Lilly (see The Scientist). According to Lilly, the network of computation-capable solid state systems (electronics) engineered by humans will eventually develop (or has already developed) into an autonomous life-form. NOTE FROM JEFF: The ancient prophecies of "doom and gloom" seem to be coming true as I write this now...but why and how is this happening? Surely the Earth has always had volcanic eruptions and earth-quakes, naturally, of her own accord; surely, the sun has its own cycles and variations which affect life here; surely, cosmic energies and celestial bodies have always influenced and interacted with the Earth; surely, we may indeed be in a 'window of alignment' of cosmic geometries and/or passing through a cloud of energetic emanations that only happens every few tens of thousands of years. SURELY all this is true. But HOW CAN WE POSSIBLY distinguish what is 'really' happening from what 'seems' to be happening, given our collective obsession with unreality and the "artificial world of our own creation" that Rachel Carson warned of? Moreover, why does it appear to be that much of the current dooms-day destruction is actually being waged by humans and against humans, using extremely advanced technologies on a par with where Atlantis was at just before she went down (as the story goes). Speaking of stories, what greater story could be told than that of the "Heberu", the ancient nomadic tribe expelled from Egypt from trying to take over there...you know it well, the whole story of THE BIBLE..."God", Jesus, the old and new testaments...the greatest work of fiction ever foisted on humanity and held to be 'true' by so many. Look around...it was all a set-up and we've swallowed it hook, line and sinker. Silly us...it's US who've been creating all the problems. And it's US who are responsible. Surely creative forces infinitely more powerful than us exist; we didn't create the universe or the beauty of the Earth. Part of why we are here is to understand the spiritual responsibility of our creativity and our existence here. To me, it makes a lot more sense to be thinking about doing "inner work" and what the science of chakras is really about, instead of consuming more fictitious bullshit, blaming somebody else for what is happening, and waiting to be "saved" by Jesus or extra-terrestrials...or Robama! THE BIBLE

“…the seven seals are allegorical to each of the seven chakras (energy centers, like valves between the etheric and physical bodies, which are related to the endrocrine system) of the human body. With the opening of each seal comes “revelation” and the opportunity to be purified and transformed by the particular energies released. The more successful we are in handling and transmuting within ourselves (i.e., within each chakra) the intense surge of purifying energy released by the opening of each seal, the less necessary it is for these releases to manifest in the external world as chaos and catastrophe.”

The Bible contains many prophecies and references to “the fullness of time”, “the harvest”, the “latter” or “last days”, the “purification of the nations” and the battle of Armageddon. God spoke clearly in these times (and sometimes not so clearly) through his prophets of the Old Testament, through the disciples who recorded the life and teachings of Jesus in the Gospels, and through John’s vision of the Revelation. The various biblical prophecies present warnings to the reader of the signs to watch before the finale, so that all who receive the message might prepare themselves, and be awakened to their spiritual identity and divine heritage. Again, we stress that it is not the end of the world that is predicted, but the end of the Piscean age and present world system. Preparation is needed to achieve sufficient faith, strength, understanding, and purity to make the transition to that promised land of a highly evolved and truly righteous society of the Aquarian, Golden or New Age. It will usher in the final stage of the Yuga, the 26,000 equinoctial cycle, and culminate in the evolution of humanity to a spiritual/fourth dimensional state of consciousness. The Bible records that it has always been God’s way to provide ample time and forewarning before catastrophes or judgments. A renewal of religious interest and spiritual awakening are important signs of the predicted times, and this is happening today.

In the ancient world of the Hebrew prophets, villages and centers of trade and commerce were scattered over an arid landscape of relentless sunlight and hazy barren hills. The prophets who emerged to stir the pulse of conscience were a remarkable breed of men. Wandering between communities and royal cities, they would often appear out of the wilderness areas to warn or admonish, help or advise. They were probably a thorn in the flesh of the populace, feared yet revered, as they spoke out against kings, corruption, and unGodliness. Through His prophets, God spoke directly in those days to people who would hear, and dealt just retribution to those who would not; or so it seemed. It was a simple affair, uncomplicated by the intricacies of technology and media.

A criticism aimed at Biblical prophecies is that describe events of the prophets’ own times. But this would not necessarily disqualify a prophecy from being true for our time, too. You can get a lot of mileage out of the major biblical prophecies because they deal with archetypal myths and images. While the perennial wisdom enables us to transcend the conditions of the world, it is the perennial ignorance that brings down the negative aspects of history that repeat in such predictable patterns. That is to say, failure to live according to natural law and divine will has consequences – returning karma. Biblical prophecy lets people know that God keeps His promises and covenants, and helps them understand more clearly God’s will and the moral standards by which He judges, in order that people may harmonize their lives with them and thereby avoid suffering.

In the visions of the various Hebrew prophets, we see again and again events quite similar, if not identical, to those recorded in the annals of many ancient peoples, several of which are discussed in the chapter on Pole Shift. The prophets quoted below lives just prior to the great cosmic upheavals that appear to have accompanied the “brief anomaly” of magnetic pole reversal around 860 B.C. If events that happened then are about to recur, the prophecy is still good. For example, the Book of Joel, form which the following quotes are excerpted, opens with Joel instructing the people to repeat to as many future generations as possible the prophecy he is about to give on the coming “day of the Lord”:

Joel, c. 820 B.C., “The Earth shall quake before them, the heavens shall tremble; the sun and moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.” (2:10)

“And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord to come.” (2:30-32)

Amos, c. 800 B.C., “And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to do down at noon, and I will darken the Earth in the clear day.” (8:9)

Isaiah, c. 775 B.C., “For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine…Therefore I will shake the heavens and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.” (13:10 and 13:13)

Habbakuk, c. 628 B.C., “He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow.” (3:6)

Many centuries later the Gospels were written. They are accounts of the life and teachings of Jesus as written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. These men also recorded in a firsthand and informal way very interesting information about the people and customs of two thousand years ago. The culture was still predominantly Greek, with Roman politics and Jewish religion. The political, social and moral attitudes of that time were quite corrupt, not so very different from our own, and the disciples who wrote the gospels originally were just plain folk from all walks of life. Matthew was a former tax collector, and Mark a scholar from a wealthy family. Luke had been a physician, and John (who also later wrote the Revelation) was a fisherman.

One day, on the Mount of Olives in the Judean hills, the disciples asked Jesus privately when the end would be, and what would be the signs of His coming again. Jesus spoke of wars and rumors of wars, of famines, of pestilence, and earthquakes, and said that they would be but the beginning of troubles. He warned of religions persecution; false prophets and imposters claiming to be Christ himself, and performing such heavy miracles that even the wisest might be deceived. He said that unless God intervened, humanity would be wiped out entirely, but that for the sake of the “elect” the time of trouble would be shortened.

In his discussion, Jesus also confirmed the visions of the Hebrew prophets. “Men’s hearts [will be] failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming upon the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” [emphasis added] (Luke 21: 26-27). In this passage, the original Greek word for “heavens” is “ouranos” – the root for uranium. One could read instead, “The powers of uranium shall be shaken. And then shall they see…” Uranium is shaken to produce atomic power. It is a matter of record and certainly a curious coincidence that the first nuclear experiments, detonated in New Mexico desert at Jornado del Muerto (journey of the dead) was called “Project Trinity.” When he beheld, on that fateful day, the awesome release of power wrought by their research, project director Robert Oppenheimer recalled the impact it had upon him. A passage from Sanskrit scripture echoed in his mind – Shiva, the destructive aspect of the Hindu trilogy, saying “I am become Death, destroyer of worlds…” The result of that dynamic fusion, the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, was code named “Baby Jesus.” This interpretation correlates with data from the King’s Chamber in the Great Pyramid – for the date exactly in the center, March 3-4, 1945, indicates the date of the first atomic bomb experiments. Also, the Hopi prophecies say the same thing. In a letter of appeal over the Black Mesa issue, the Hopi elders wrote to President Nixon, “The Great Spirit said that if a gourd of ashes is dropped upon the Earth, many men will die and that the end of this way of life is near at hand.” Matthew, Mark and Luke each report Jesus as saying right after this, “Verily, I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away until all be fulfilled.” And it looks very possible.

“Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” (Luke 21:36) This was his last advice to his disciples on the subject, for He was speaking also of the events concerning the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem, which came about in 70 A.D., and which would have been witnessed by disciples still living at that time.

St. John the Divine was the youngest and most beloved disciple of Jesus. He had sat at Christ’s side during the last supper, and it was to him that Jesus entrusted the care of His mother, Mary, during the crucifixion. We know that Jesus was aware that John had been chosen to receive the prophetic vision of the close of the age, because John records at the end of his own gospel that “The saying spread abroad among the bretheren that this disciple (John) was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but ‘If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?’” (John 21:23) After Christ’s ascension, the Roman authorities put a finger on John. His preaching activities concerning the new Christian doctrine posed a threat to the establishment religion and the government arranged for him to be forcibly exiled for apostasy. John was banished to the island of Patmos in the Mediterranean, and it was during his later life that he had the vision recorded in the last book of the Bible as “The Revelation.”

The Book of Revelation is an obvious account of some very real future shock, detailing signs of Christ’s second coming and the events that presage the final judgment of humanity. Although interpretation has always been difficult and unsatisfactory, the veils of mystery are gradually lifting, as world events today shed light on much of the allegory. Many volumes would be necessary to explore fully all the aspects of John’s amazing preview, but there are a few highly relevant trends forming today that relate to it.

The Revelation involves a series of happenings that occur in the spiritual world of the heavens. He has sought to insulate himself, in his cities of steel and concrete, from the realities of earth and water and the growing seed. CREATIVE RENAVIGATION:
The Karma and Dharma of Being Here Now

We live in a vast cosmic context beyond our comprehension as well as our control; paradoxically, after at least a million years in our present form, we as a species find ourselves overwhelmed by an array of problems arising exclusively from our own actions, including the destruction of the human genome and an accelerated “mass-extinction” phenomenon known as industrial civilization, which could prove to be the “final solution” for life on Earth.

No greater problems confront humanity today than those of true self-understanding, individually and collectively; herein are the solutions to the essentially psychological and spiritual issues which threaten the continuity of the human adventure, those of purposive self-destruction, chronic denial, and the deep-seated inability actually to use the best knowledge we already have. These problems are not biological in origin but are the result of “software” anomalies in the human psyche.

If we each had done a lot more inner work, we may never have participated in the development and maintenance of a parasitic world system founded on greed, exploitation and genocide; we may never have funded the evolution of the global military-industrial juggernaut whose primary target is now us; we would have known better than to become mindless addicts and consumers of products, technologies and world-views designed to create disease and death. We would never have allowed the construction of nuclear reactors or technetronic weapons systems, fallen prey to the ministries of mass-media and mind control, or come to worship in the Church of the Fed. We would never have committed planetary ecocide, or submitted to being murdered. We would never have allowed our individual and collective dharma to sink so low.

Our collective dharma, our adherence to that which we know is right and true, has declined so drastically that values, beliefs and practices are now accepted as “normal” which even 20 years ago would have been decried as acute violations of honesty and decency. Without reservation, we routinely ingest images of institutionalised fraud, deception and mass-murder, hosted by a veritable “tumour circus” of celebritized acticians; moreover, we uncritically assimilate these images as both “real” and “acceptable.”

Through the summation of our collective inertia, we have allowed a full-spectrum nightmare scenario to unfold before our very eyes wide shut. The technological facility to destroy life as we know her on this planet has been unleashed in many forms, the most lethal of which is ionising radiation from all things nuclear.

The nuclear scenario is the most salient example of the seemingly insoluble human dilemma. For over 60 years this situation has compounded exponentially in terms of biological lethality and psychological unreality. The wake of Fukushima has at one level generated a renewed wave of nuclear awareness, forcing an appraisal of just how insane it all really is. Consider the following:

“Based on the ration of spent rods to reactor fuel inside U.S. nuclear facilities, there are close to 200,000 metric tons of high-level nuclear waste at the 453 civilian nuclear-energy plants worldwide. Yet not a single permanent storage site has ever been opened anywhere.” Yoichi Shimatsu, journalist

“Dr. Helen Caldicott…relates that a typical one mega-watt reactor produces approximately 500 pounds of plutonium per year…At this same rate, 227 lethal doses of plutonium are produced for every watt of electricity generated. The electricity consumed by a typical light bulb results in the creation of thousands of lethal doses of plutonium alone, not to mention over 1000 other highly dangerous substances…the 400+ civilian reactors alone world-wide would produce around 92,000 kgs of plutonium per year. This equals 92 trillion lethal doses of plutonium being created per year. This is on-going and doesn’t even begin to include what already exists. The number of lethal doses of plutonium that currently exists might be on the order of 10 to the 15th power. And this is JUST plutonium; over a thousand other extremely dangerous radio-nuclides come into being during fission reactions, many with extended half-lives. We currently possess enough plutonium to kill every person on Earth tens of thousands of times.” Jeff Phillips, information activist

The average person’s mind tends to shut down when forced to confront facts like these, yet the unimaginably and incomprehensibly dire nuclear scenario is affecting almost every living thing on the planet, with the possible exception of benthic thermophile cyanobacteria. This quasi-supernatural, “science-fiction” situation, growing worse day by day, is not “cosmic” nor is it an “accident” but an “anthropogenic catastrophe” with planetary consequences, which has come about exclusively through continued and directed human action.

In addition to a massive elevation of global radiation levels, Fukushima has generated a new wave of nuclear awareness; this ray of light, however, is immensely over-shadowed by revelations that the earthquake which caused the damage was not in fact “naturally occurring” but an act of “tectonic warfare”, and that the “leaders of the free world” are in fact clearly committed to agendas of premeditated depopulation and oligarchical megalomania.

Lies, distortion, spin, marginalisation, distraction and actual media and information black-outs have all been fully deployed to prevent the public as a whole from knowing what is really going on with Fukushima and the global radiation scenario; most people seem to be ok with this, however, as even though a relatively accurate…and shocking to the nuclear novice…perspective is available with a little work, they find the whole global radiation thing to be somewhat inconvenient to business as usual. Since it’s invisible anyway, most people are more or less oblivious, although not quite as blissfully as they would like.

When we step back and look at what’s happening, we can discern a clear historical pattern, of which Fukushima is only the most recent and most extreme example: human beings using their most advanced methods and technologies to inflict death and disease on other human beings. These methods and technologies are rationalized and/or disguised as “nature” or “liberation”; the “spectacle consumers” as a whole swallow it all just like another episode of The Simpsons, while “the people” who are being “liberated” endure or succumb to plagues of escalating technological innovation.

The practice of genocide is one of the unique characteristics that sets homo sapiens, “man, the wise” apart from all other life forms on Mother Earth. No other species of life engages in systematic killing of its own kind, nor has any other species attempted to demonstrate its purported “superior intelligence” by becoming a threat to the health and/or existence of other species of life.

Why is this happening? The way I see it is that Mother Earth, in her compassionate wisdom and love for all her children…not just us…and having given us ample opportunity as a species…has endured our dementia long enough and is now allowing us to destroy ourselves. Why make someone else do the job?

Indigenous people have warned us for many a mega-moon that “what we do to the Earth, we do to ourselves.” We were warned time and time again that “if we dig precious things from the land, we will invite disaster.” Not only have we NOT heeded these warnings in the least, as a whole we have forged ahead at full throttle laying waste to the planet as fast as possible. We individually may not drill the well, but we purchase the petrol and burn it in our vehicles. Mulitiply our daily damage times billions of upwardly-mobile people and a significant slice of ecocide and its karmic consequences comes into focus. Our growing demand feeds exploitation and supports the extraction cartels, who influence us to want even more. The driving force of modern “civilization” has been mass-genocide followed by mass-exploitation, an “unconscious jihad” against the Earth. This in a nutshell is the karmic foundation upon which the entire past 5000 years rests. We as humans are all responsible; no one forced us to do these things.

These long-standing warnings from indigenous people are not superstitious beliefs but cosmic wisdom incomprehensible to “civilized” humanity, yet grounded in ancient knowledge and awareness of energies and inter-relationships inherent in the fabric of life. We have the ability not only to access this cosmic wisdom but to implement it in our daily lives; that we have not done so is a testament to the human paradox.

Look again at the global nuclear scenario. Through our obsession with extracting “precious things”…gems, metals, minerals, coal and petroleum, for example…we have accumulated a monstrous karmic burden from the genocide of indigenous peoples, the rape of their land, as well as incalculable environmental and toxicological consequences.

The mining of uranium from sacred indigenous land for use in the atomic bomb took the karmic consequences to another level entirely. Uranium and other naturally radioactive elements are literally “star stuff”, truly sacred substances whose residual energies are supernova condensates; their presence in the Earth is inseparable from and perhaps essential to the evolution of life as we know her. Human extraction, mobilization, and concentration of these materials has created a “self-destruct” mechanism which is now in full swing.

Even a cursory rational analysis of the current nuclear scenario reveals that because of the astronomical amounts of extraordinarily radioactive substances that have been and are being created daily, existing as fuel, weapons and waste, in storage or dispersed throughout the biosphere, it could be simply a matter of time until life as we know her has been all but extinguished. Contrary to popular delusion, these substances can IN NO WAY be isolated from the environment; and, contrary to popular delusion, at least 20 generations of people must be studied in order fully to understand the genetic implications of ionising radiation. We of today are only the third or fourth; that another 16 generations of human life is even remotely possible is highly questionable. Well documented, moreover, are the increased frequencies of cancer, infertility, and cognitive impairment occurring in people exposed to artificial ionising radiation at any level, i.e., every person alive today.

We as human beings have done this. Not “they”, “we.” I hold this principle of “species responsibility” to be equally as real as the concept of karma, which is an ancient Hindu word meaning essentially “what comes around, goes around.”

At the leading edge of thought, through a synergy of synthesis, where scientific knowledge, intelligent speculation, cosmic insight, shamanic vision and creative imagination fuse, we may discover understanding not only of the reality of karma, but also how and why humans have arrived at the current situation, as well as how we may in fact be able to transform the collective “actual death experience” we seem to be creating into a highly educational collective “near death experience.”

In a more in-depth article I will explore possible explanations or “mechanisms” not only for how karma might work, but also how the Hindu concept of yugas, or “galactic seasons”, might operate. According to Hindu cosmology, we are now somewhere in what they call the Kali yuga, the shortest but darkest of the “seasons” of a vast cosmic cycle: the time of war, degeneration, oppression, killing, machines, disease…the “iron age.” This idea makes a lot of sense when you look around at the world of human creation and the way it’s all been going; yet the presence of cosmic influences does not preclude the responsibility that comes with free will.

The scary part is that, IF we are in fact in the Kali yuga, unless we are at the very end, transitioning back into a “season” of higher vibration, then things are only going to continue to get worse. We need only look to Fukushima and the thousands of other reactors, weapons, wastes and contaminated sites around the world whose legacy of disease, depopulation and mutation may give way to extinction to visualize how much worse it can get. We can glimpse the future of humanity, of our descendents, in the images of deformed babies from Iraq and Chernobyl.

On the other hand, as impossible as it may seem, we may be able to reverse our descent into oblivion by elevating our dharma through conscious renavigation of our decision-making at every level: a genuine expression of the “wisdom” we claim to possess. This could result not only in “stopping” our destructive activities but more importantly in transforming our personal world-views, our internal psychology, our “operating environment” in ways that benefit life. Dharma essentially means doing what you know deep-down is right, listening to the “still small voice” of conscience. None of this will bring back species we have caused to go extinct or the indigenous people who have been murdered, nor will it put the ionising radiation back in the ground, but it could prevent the total annihilation of life that seems to be our goal.

This is the challenge of living in the Kali yuga: to maintain our dharma at all costs. It’s logical to assume that dharma must be maintained in ALL yugas, but that during the Kali yuga it’s MOST important as well as extremely difficult to do so.

Just as it might be easier to feel cold in winter than in summer, it might be easier to make selfish or destructive decisions in the Kali yuga as opposed to in the Sat yuga (the golden age); but the point is that it is possible to stay warm in winter, just as it is possible to make unselfish and life-nurturing decisions in the depths of Kali. The hordes of consumers, the herds of sheeple will far out-number the “people of one heart”, but only a handful are required to carry the seed of the next creation.

The biggest issue here is the level of awareness we each have of what is going on within and around us: it’s totally insane for people to think that they can magically “ascend” into “another dimension”, either through their own efforts and/or with the assistance of “higher beings”, while they are functioning as soldiers in World War 3 through the ecological and health consequences of their daily lives.

Technologies of psychic influence are pervasive; few people recognize television as the advanced weapons system, the “electronic dictator” it was designed to be. Reclaiming the autonomy of our own thought processes is the first step towards effective renavigation.

The next step is to examine fundamental beliefs, assumptions and values affecting how we live and relate with each other and Mother Earth. For example, we could ask ourselves, “IS the Earth just a ball of rock consisting of resources we need more and more of, or could she really be our mother in a real sense, a planetary being possessing a vast intelligence who gave birth to life, who has feelings of love and pain, and who is aware of us now? If so, how do we get in closer touch with her, heal our relationship with her?”

As the human beings of today the most powerful and intelligent changes we can make are to expand our “horizons of identity” to include as “ourselves” not only our entire human family, but our larger “family of life”, including Mother Earth herself, a family the Lakota refer to as “mitakuye oyasin”; to recognize and accept the unity of responsibility for how in truth “we”…not an indeterminate “they”…are harming the Earth and ourselves; and, most importantly, to renavigate our habitual patterns of living and thinking towards simpler and saner modes, and to implement ways of being and relating with each other and the world of nature which reflect a genuine love of life.

Pragmatically, most people in western “civilized” countries could elevate their dharma dramatically, and at the same time lessen their ecological “foot-print” and increase their health, by making a few changes in day-to-day routines that are typically accepted as “normal” but in global summation constitute a major share of the human impact on the Earth and therefore on our collective karma.

The basic idea is voluntary simplification: reducing or eliminating the use or consumption of products or technologies whose health risks, environmental dangers and/or fraudulent foundations are well known. Consider for example a few things that many people take for granted on a daily basis: driving a car, eating meat, watching tv, talking on mobile phones, building new houses, and using banks.

If people as a whole simply reduced their participation in these activities, not only would our accumulation of negative karma be massively reduced and our dharma levels be elevated, but the Earth and our fellow life-forms would breathe a sigh of relief from the lessening of our attack on them. Any intelligent person, were they to take a few moments to think about it, can explain in detail why all of these things are extraordinarily bad in general, for people and for the Earth. Allow me:

We need transportation, but not only is most driving unnecessary and wasteful, civilian petrol consumption is astronomical as are vehicular casualties, human and non-human. Professor Pete Singer estimates that over 60 billion animals are slaughtered annually for meat, most of them having endured tortuous and truncated existences. All animals have babies and love them. Television, the “atomic bomb of the mind” is not only the most advanced weapons system in use, it is also the most cleverly disguised. Mobile phones are literally microwave ovens held next to the brain; a global epidemic of brain and eye cancer is under way now. How many people actually need a new house, especially one that’s the size of a medieval castle, and that might be inhabited a few weeks out of the year? Think of the resources consumed, think of the billions of people who have no house; indigenous people never “owned” land. Finally, modern banking is the biggest lie we ever believed in, bigger than Jesus and Satan put together; that capitalism is a de facto religion is beyond refute. Gold is extremely valuable, but only when it’s in the ground where it belongs.

Voluntary simplification means that you need less money and resources, but that you can still have everything you need; it also involves the taboo practice of conservation, which no one can capitalize on but is the only truly intelligent and ecological solution to “growing energy demands.” We don’t need more energy…we need to use what we have more efficiently. And why do we need “to grow?” What’s wrong with growing smaller?

Beyond this level, we have the ability to create ways of living which do not require any of these harmful practices or technologies; how necessary or desirable are all the things we think we need more energy for? So we can drive faster and farther on tanks of water? We have the ability to live more cooperatively, in greater harmony and partnership with each other and the Earth. We have the ability to stop doing harmful things. The problem, the dilemma is why we are choosing NOT to stop doing harmful things even though we know better.

I believe that at this point in time, we are living in an ever-tightening feed-back loop not only of “consumption-demand-exploitation” but at another level, of our participation in violating the Earth, her life-forms and indigenous peoples. Our participation in what quite literally is a “war” on the Earth is directly driving the escalating “war on ourselves” manifesting most recently as weaponized “natural disasters” and “industrial accidents”, traditional “wars of aggression”, economic fraudulence, the “wall of doo-doo” mass-media syndrome, and the global depopulation agenda in general.

The loop is so tightly configured that for every farm animal that is tortured, every mile that is driven unnecessarily, every tree that is chopped down to make card-board, every kilogram of uranium that is mined…for each of these events, these flagrant ecological violations, several thousand litres of petrol are thrown onto the metaphorical fires in which humanity is being consumed…and several million allotments of plutonium.

If miraculously a significant number of people voluntarily simplified in the ways I suggested, not even by eliminating those activities but cutting back on them, it’s possible that the likelihood of another diabolical “false flag geo-terrorism” event, premeditated and executed as a deliberate attack on humanity and the Earth, may be greatly reduced. In other words, if we show that we care enough about nature and the Earth to make tangible changes in our lives which reflect this concern, then the entire holomorphic spiritual intelligence network of the Earth, of which we are only a small part, will know; if we lessen our destruction of nature, we also lessen the self-destruction of humanity against humanity.

Once again, in a more in-depth article I will go into the morphogenetic and whole systems concepts that I think explain how all this works. For now, we need to focus on what we can do, what changes we can implement at the level of the individual that can generate positive spiritual energy. The intent of making changes that show love of life is important, but intent without action is meaningless. Individual people cannot shut down a reactor or unplug a H.A.A.R.P. facility, BUT a million people each cutting back drastically or eliminating driving cars, eating meat, watching tv, using mobile phones, new construction, and supporting banks would generate a tsunami of positive spiritual energy that may help Mother Earth to reconsider extending our “existence permit” in her web of life.

Six and a half billion of us exist at this time, each of us possessing what is truly the “ultimate technology.” To open oneself to the full reality that we ARE in fact doing our utmost to kill ourselves and our planet, whether it’s through direct action or chronic inaction, is excruciating. With this many extremely powerful spiritual and creative human beings alive at one time, shouldn’t we be manifesting a collective reality that’s a little more desirable, instead of this worst-case scenario that seems to be a function of the “path of least resistance” having been taken for several millennia. After a 5000-year downhill journey we have arrived at the alluvial fan where the river of life meets the wide open sea; instead of a boat to eternity we find ourselves stuck in the mud and the ocean is a radioactive waste dump.

No matter what is happening to or around us…don’t point the finger at “them”, whether it’s Tepco, GE, Obama, Osama, Evelyn Rothschild, David Rockefeller, Zbigniew Brzezinski, the Zionists, the Pentagon, Monsanto, Rio Tinto, the Queen, the Pope, the “illuminati”, or the Federal Reserve. Own the responsibility of being here now as a human being and realize that it’s truly “us” who are manifesting all of this. These people and organizations are just giving us what we want. We even pay them to do it!

Make a difference that makes a difference not through words, good intentions, or donations to Greenpeace; make real tangible changes in your own day to day life which reflect a spiritual intelligence committed to a genuine love of life, of Mother Earth, of “mitakuye oyasin”, of yourself. Treat the Earth like you would like to be treated, with gentleness and kindness. Ask not what your planet can do for you, but what you can do for your planet..or stop doing.

Our “inner homework” is long over-due; a critical examination of the “software anomalies” in our psychological “operating environment” is essential to successful renavigation of the human process. If we make some major transformations in how we think, for example, if we start identifying with consciousness instead of matter, then many “problems” no longer exist. If we are consciousness, we are eternal and therefore cannot experience “death.” And if we identify with the consciousness that we are, we are then able to perceive and honour the consciousness not only in all other people, but in all life-forms, in Mother Earth and beyond. I cannot think of a more empowering realization.

We have a lot to be thankful for. The crisis of extinction through our own actions could be an opportunity for spiritual transformation. We as a whole are choosing, allowing, participating in what is happening now. We are getting what we want; but is this what we really want? If we’ve found ways to stay warm in winter, surely we can find ways to stay sane in the Kali yuga!

Ultimately, we are each artists in a very real sense. Becoming conscious of the power of our creativity might be the lesson that all this is about; instead of creating bad karma, insanity and destruction, we may choose to elevate our dharma by creating awareness, beauty and harmony.

You mention Sanskrit, so perhaps we might think about the Hindu concept of time. According to them, we've come to the end of a cycle, haven't we?

Hindus believe we are now living in what they call the Kali Yuga, the age of destruction. It's an irremediable process. Shiva has, once more, prevailed...Which is no surprise: Shiva always prevails. At the end of the last of the yugas, which form a cycle, everything disappears. The world we know will disappear, but not for the first time. There is no use trying to resist this destruction, because the forces sweeping us away are infinitely more powerful than us. The main difficulty during the Kali Yuga is to maintain dharma, to maintain the order of the world and the integrity of our own actions, which are intimately connected in Indian thought, because we are in part responsible for the smooth running of the universe. When did we enter the time of Kali?

About 3200 B.C., on the death of Krishna, the eighth avatar of the god Vishnu. But how long will the time of Kali last? I've never managed to find out, though I must have asked at least fifty people.

The French comic Fernand Raynaud would have said: “For some time...”

If the time of Kali began around 3200 B.C., it's already lasted more than 5,000 years. How much longer? Some talk of fifty years, others of 3 million. It is very difficult to know how long a yuga lasts. Probably because, for Indians, that's not exactly the point.

It's the very idea of measuring time which is foreign to them.

Yes, because you can't measure a circular phenomenon.

What's going to happen at the end of the Kali Yuga?

We shall see – are already seeing – an increasingly radical and increasingly evident decline in the whole idea of civilization. One can find very precise accounts of the Kali Yuga in the sacred texts of India, in the Mahabharata, for example. We shall experience a period in which all social ties disappear. The laws will be called into question, opposed, and finally dispensed with. The texts speak of the 'laws of Manu', named after the Indian equivalent of Solon. These laws have provided the structure of Indian society for a very long time. When they cease to be in force, civil wars will follow, within states, within cities, within families, rifts of every kind. Wild animals will invade the cities. The texts are very precise on the matter. I remember Jean-Luc Godard saying fifteen years ago that the fact that the blackbirds had deserted the countryside to come and live in the towns and cities seemed to him one of the most important events of the last years of the century; within a short period of time the least tame of animals had become almost domesticated...One reads, too, in the Mahabharata: 'Crime walks abroad. Carnivorous animals lie sleeping in the streets...The vultures are gathering. Birds with iron beaks have been seen, crying: “It's ripe! It's ripe!” And so on. Predictions of the end of the world share a number of common signs pretty well everywhere.

Aren't these just metaphors?

Absolutely not. It is presented quite clearly as fact. The texts speak also of the human race degenerating: of people becoming shorter, of muscles weakening, of the hair of fifteen-year-olds turning white...

If we look around us, the opposite seems to be true. The new generation is taller, healthier than any previous generation.

The Indians argue that ones does indeed see many people living to the age of eighty or ninety. But they belong to a generation born before the Second World War, when more than half the population still lived in the country and ate natural foods, produce that grew from the earth without the aid of pesticides and chemicals, and when they breathed clean air.

Will the post-war generation face problems that we don't yet know about?

It's quite possible. More often than not, what happens in the future is unexpected. But if everything is going from bad to worse, according to the traditional Indian view, one thing is nevertheless getting better and better: the quality of wine is improving, throughout the world. An exception to the rule which is not without its charm! There is absolutely no doubt that wine today – in the Herault, for example, where I live – is better than it was thirty or forty years ago. And that's encouraging. But will wine survive the Kali Yuga?

Perhaps it's your taste buds which have deteriorated?

Absolutely not. Everybody agrees on the fact, the wind-growers especially. Consumption of plonk has fallen considerably, people are discovering quality wines all over the place. Individual wines, with their own personality, that refuse to be like the rest. The wine-growers have devoted considerable efforts to the choice of grape varieties. And to mention something I do know quite a lot about, Corbieres wines are in the process of becoming very fine wines, on a par with the wines of Bordeaux. And even Bordeaux wine is getting better. So there's one good reason not to despair completely. There's some serious resistance going on...

But according to your sacred texts, none the less, the human race is under threat.

I remember talking to an Indian in 1985, in Avignon, on the banks of the Rhine. We'd both been giving talks on the Mahabharata. It was rather an amusing situation. France had just offered to send a group of scientists to India to help combat the pollution of the Ganges, and there we were, sitting on the banks of the Rhone, when we saw several shoals of dead fish floating past. Then, thinking of this country that was proposing to come to the rescue of the Indians while neglecting to protect the species to be found in its own territory, the Indian calmy and simply said to me: “Watch out!” Throughout history, average life expectancy has varied. Historians contend that people in the West lived longer in Ancient Greece and Rome than they did in the fifteenth century. Great epidemics of the sort that decimated populations in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance were unknown throughout Antiquity. Since the introduction of chemicals on a grand scale into our agriculture from the 1960's on – into our air, our water, our soil - no one has been able to predict the long-term effects on the human species as a whole. It's equally possible, of course, that it will have no effect. I'm not trying to act the prophet of doom. I'm simply trying to caution against any unduly complacent assertions about the 'progress' made by our civilization.

And how does the Kali Yuga end?

The abandonment of the rule of the law, followed by civil wars and the degeneration of the species, lead to wretched deprivation, everywhere. And there are disasters on a global scale, great rains, red vapours, yellow vapours, deadly clouds, which will all turn the earth into one enormous swamp.

Richard Fleicher's film Green Sun [Soylent Green] seemed to be predicting a miserable end of that sort.

Yes, it was a moving account. The age of Kali is terrifying. And there is no remedy. It's pointless to resist. There's only one thing left for us to do in these dramatic times: maintain our dharmas in circumstances which will make it harder and harder for us to do so.

But why maintain this dharma if the cause is definitively lost?

Precisely because time is cyclical, and a certain number of values, of the elements that constitute the order of the world, cannot disappear for ever. When all that's left on our planet is a sort of grey mud, as the texts describe it, then at that moment Vishnu will admit defeat: Shiva will have triumphed, the world will have been destroyed. There are two great divinities in India, Vishnu and Shiva, and one creative principle, Brahma, of whom it is said that he is the third divinity. In reality, Brahma intervenes very little. There are only one or two temples in India that are dedicated to him. Vishnu and Shiva, on the other hand, are constant rivals: one preserves the world and the other seeks to destroy it. The Mahabharata is a great Vishnuist poem in honour of Krishna, who is an avatar of Vishnu. In difficult times Vishnu comes down to fight Shiva and to delay the end by a few years. Indian statuary often depicts Shiva with four hands. The top two are at the same height; in the right hand, the god holds a small drum to signify that the world was created to the sound and rhythm of a drum. In the other he holds a flame, which reminds us that everything that has been created shall be destroyed. The gesture that Shiva makes with his third arm is also the gesture that the Buddha makes, the famous abhaya, meaning “Be not afraid.” Fear is an illusion, it does not exist. Since everything that has been created must be destroyed, why be alarmed, why worry? The fourth hand is a finger pointing towards the god's feet. Shiva is standing on one leg and crushing a demon with his whole weight. He seems to be telling us: “Be not afraid, for look! By the power of my thought, I have lifted one foot off the ground.” This is one of the most emblematic and meaningful figures in the whole Hindu pantheon, which has no shortage of them. Shiva has prevailed, but all hope is not lost. He demonstrates the fact himself. From his raised foot our eye travels back to the original drum: one day everything will begin again. We all have our own little Kali Yuga in us, our own sense of apocalyptic doom. There's even something strangely inviting about this sense that the end is nigh. If so many periods in history have experienced it, that's probably because the feeling is part of us, deep down, and surfaces on this or that occasion as evidence of our fear, of our sense of guilt. In India, too, they are familiar with this human sense of being haunted by an ending. They simply respond to it in their own way.

“VISHNU'S SLEEP”

And what does Vishnu do during this time?

Vishnu sleeps. He sleeps for a very long time upon a limitless ocean. There are thousands of depictions of Vishnu sleeping. While asleep he must dream so as not to forget the beauties of the world that has disappeared. Which is why we must at all costs maintain our dharma, in order to help Vishnu not to forget. To help the god to dream. If all values, all beauty are destroyed at the end of the cycle, the world is in danger of never reappearing. If something of the equilibrium between the forces of destruction and the forces of conservation is preserved in the memory of the great 'maintainer' that we are, Vishnu and us together, then all hope is not lost. A new cycle will begin again...

So dream has a function as memory.

As non-oblivion, as the struggle against oblivion. Dream remains awake within the sleeping mind. Who decides when the world will be created? No one says. There is no text, I think, which talks about it. Indian thought is reluctant to give shape or words to what is not yet shape, to what belongs to the realm of the shapeless. Tat tvam asi, they say of the ultimate reality: 'You are that.'

That's the essential message of the Bhagavad Gita.

The Bhagavad Gita is a very dense text which cannot be reduced to an 'essential message.' We must stop thinking that we can summarize in a few sentences the great thoughts, the great texts, that come from outside our own tradition. In a sense, the Bhagavad Gita subsumes everything that went before and develops it in certain aspects. It's a complex text. People have even found Buddhist influences in it. I shall certainly not simplify it for you. I wouldn't be able to.

As far as the dharma of the Hindus is concerned (the word has a different sense in Buddhism), no one knows hot it came to exist in the first place. It's simply a fact. That's how things are. There have been many people – Jorge Luis Borges, for example – who have been surprised at this obligation without explanation.

As I said, it's almost impossible to assimilate Indian thought (or Chinese or Mayan thought) to our Western concepts. We are far from having a monopoly on ways of thinking. There's a certain intellectual racism to be found more or less everywhere in the West, and we should constantly be on our guard against it.

So it is with time. Indian time cannot be reduced to our own. It defies all human arithmetic. Taken to its limit, this way of thinking means that a civilization could disappear in a few seconds and then reappear. In a few seconds, in a few thousand million years; what's the difference in the eyes of an extinct cosmos? Brahma the creator acts in an instant. Shiva takes longer, being more tortuous about his destruction. But it all comes to the same. An age is an age. Often if all depends on us, on our feel for things, on our way of seeing, our attitude.

For a thinker like Rene Guenon, manifestations belong to different orders, some of which take place in time and other of which take place in other dimensions. Yes, perhaps in those parallel universes that the scientists tell us about these days. But let me finish talking about...what am I saying! One's never finished with him, with Vishnu, our official protector.

After a certain 'time', all at once and for reasons we don't understand, Brahma, the creative principle, suddenly emerges from the belly of Vishnu, seated on a lotus leaf, and recreates the world he was dreaming about. The job done, Brahma returns to sleep inside the stomach of the god, ready for the next occasion. Creation dwells in sleep.

NOTES ON JOSE ARGUELLES, UFO's, and "WAR of the MK-STARGATE"

THE ON-GOING 'ORCHESTRATION OF REALITY' PARADIGM

I wrote most of this article several weeks ago, well before Jose under-went inter-dimensional transformation. At first I was a little sad that he wouldn’t be here for the much-heralded “2012 event”, but then I thought about it, and concluded that, indeed, Jose is now “timeless” in ways few of us could pretend to know about, as well as that maybe with things going the way they are, he didn’t want to be hanging around for another 18 months becoming radio-active. Or maybe he wanted to be gone before everyone discovered what a huge hoax the 2012 thing has been all along and then came looking for him as its single biggest progenitor! Or maybe, unlike Osama, maybe he’s not dead!

I always had a lot of respect for the enormity of his contributions, especially his earlier, “pre-Mayan” work. To me, his greatest talent lay in visual art and this, along with his mission of the awareness of temporal and calendrical relativity, was his greatest contribution. I got to meet Jose a few times, our first meeting being in Boulder, Colorado in 1986. I personally think that some of his best work is, for example, a chapter in his book The Transformative Vision entitled “Art as Internal Technology”, and his book Earth Ascending, which has some of the coolest and most cosmically creative art/charts I’ve ever seen. With The Mayan Factor, what seemed like non-sense started creeping in, along with the number 666 and a lot of stuff about “ufo’s.” To be honest, since the Harmonic Convergence of 1987 I sensed an increase in non-sense in direct proportion to his rise into the “new age” lime-light. The last time I saw him was when he gave his first “down-under” presentation on Easter Sunday of 2003 I think it was, in Melbourne. His ideas then were pretty grounded. But when I listened to a recording of a “Signs of Destiny” talk in California in 2004, his credibility was undermined when I heard him say that, for example, the “people” on his planet referred to our Earth as something like “Velatropa 4368”…not his exact words but close enough. The implication is that 1) there’s another planet “somewhere” with people just like us, 2) they speak English, and 3) he’s from there, and is possibly back there now? All this, plus the fact that for many years now, he’s insisted that he’s actually this being called Pacal Votan, a resurrected priest from ancient Mayan Guatemala…the “Guatemala” of “his” planet, I presume? Truly, who can say for sure about the nature of someone else’s personal reality? I remain sceptical, but ultimately I am open to anything, especially if it’s coherently presented!

I found the closing insights in his chapter of the book The Mystery of 2012 to be of value, especially within a paradigm where “codes” are the in-thing; we do need to wake up, but why tag the ever-ubiquitous “ufo” meme onto all this? It would seem to me that many other topics of much greater significance could have been added on to the end of this piece, for example, research about how our brains interact with the Earth’s magnetic field, humanity’s seeming obsession with fiction, or the immense amount of negative karma that “man, the wise” has accrued for the past 5000 years and that must necessarily be cleared before any hope of “ascension” is remotely possible. Even talking about “other dimensions” and beings therein doesn’t necessitate talking about UFO’s, does it? Whales, trees, or undisrupted indigenous people could exist in or experience these “other dimensions.” Wizards and hobbits, too. Even sleep or ‘altered states’ could be “other dimensions”. So why does not only Arguelles, but almost every other “new age” guru, cosmic researcher, and alternative networker keep a bright spot-light focussed on the whole UFO thing? Every issue of magazines like Nexus, Uncensored, or Atlantis Rising has at least one major piece devoted to all this.

The articles that are of value to me are the ones that reveal how “flying disc” technology has existed at least since the days of the Third Reich; that “ufo’s” do exist, but that they are strictly human in design and operation.

Arguelles suggests that the modern-day UFO phenomenon began shortly after the detonation of atomic weapons in 1945: “they” suddenly took notice of what we were doing and amped up their surveillance operations, even allowing themselves to be seen by us.

But there’s another reason that the modern-day UFO phenomenon began just after World War 2, and it has to do with our old friends the Nazi psychiatrists and the CIA, both of whom crept onto the American scene at this time, and all of whom were working essentially for Wall Street. The CIA was commissioned by a national security directive in 1946, and in September 1947 what’s referred to as the “Roswell crash” happened.

The mainstream story is that a “ufo” crashed in the desert of southern New Mexico, rather close to the site where the Trinity atomic detonation had occurred. Military personnel arriving on the scene discovered humanoid aliens on board, some of whom were still alive. They were then transported to a secret base, debriefed, given cups of coffee, made deals, gave us a whole new generation of technology, had a jam, pitched Reese’s Pieces, phoned home, and so on…you’ve already seen it all in countless movies and tv shows. Early science-fiction shows and movies kept the “alien” thing going until it could be taken up by minds as creative and influential as Steven Spielberg, who has by now made sure that the whole bug-eyed agenda is firmly embedded in our collective psyche.

Former Naval intelligence operative William Cooper revealed, however, that the whole Roswell incident was indeed a psychological warfare operation in which monkeys that had been shaved and surgically altered were passed off as “aliens.” Many or most of the “military personnel” who “recovered” the “ufo” and crew were in on the plot, but the overall illusion was good enough to fool a lot of people, to this very day. This whole thing planted a potent seed of delusion which continues to be nourished.

The existence of “flying disc” technology in Nazi Germany is documented; and if thousands of Nazi scientists came into America, you can bet they brought their “flying discs” with them…or maybe even came ON them, who knows? This was in the mid-1940’s; what have they come up with in the intervening 60-plus years? Could it be that on 21 December 2012 they’re going to “let loose” with the whole shebang they’ve been working on all this time, to stage the much-heralded “fake alien invasion” foreshadowed by the “War of the Worlds” broadcast in 1939, using every technological innovation available, including tropospheric holographic projections from satellite-based lasers, supplemented by “real” successors of Nazi “flying discs”? With genetically-engineered “aliens” instead of monkeys? What might they have started from this time…mental patients? Did you know that, according to mainstream news, a few weeks ago the largest rocket ever was launched from the “new” American space-base on the west coast, its payload a huge “spy satellite”?

The engineers of the Roswell prank were really doing the exact same thing that producers, directors and special-effects technicians do when “faking reality” for a movie. The only difference was passing it off as “reality” rather than entertainment. Today, the boundaries have become increasingly warped, and it’s widely known, for example, in media-analysis circles that the vast majority of what is called “news” is in fact fabricated by public relations firms. Former CIA officials even admitted faking those “bin Laden” interviews! Before AND after he died! What more do we need to know? The only thing keeping us ingesting all this fiction is our overwhelming desire to be deceived!

“Photographic evidence” of “alien spaceships” or “moon-bases” or the “face on Mars” prove nothing except our sustained uncritical assimilation of images that are extremely easily faked or digitally synthesized. I’ve actually been “on-lab” at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory more than once in the 1980’s and 90’s. An air of “top-secrecy” surrounded the computer graphics lab; no unauthorized visitors were allowed entry under any circumstances.

Interestingly, Weidner actually says that even though Kubrick was commissioned to “fake” the Apollo moon walks, he never speculates on who did the commissioning, and that he believes astronauts did in fact visit the moon, but the public has never been allowed to see or know about what they really found. As the impossibility of living humans passing through the Van Allen radiation belts has often been the single biggest reason given for the unreality of “moon-walks”, this could be a subtle maneuver by Weidner to “leave the door open” for “aliens.” I’ve had suspicions about “hermetic expert” Weidner since my “run-in” with him a couple years ago when I criticized their placement of the Georgia Guidestones, quasi-occult monuments to world government and depopulation, in two films purportedly about 2012.

Regardless, however, if Kubrick did fake the Apollo walks, consider that this was in the 1960’s; the same elite interests who would have commissioned this project could only have forged ahead with countless more equally ambitious operations in their unreality enterprises. Most of Hollywood would be on the e.t. wagon by now, at one level or another.

The whole point is that a tremendous amount of time, effort and expense has been and is being mobilized to wage a massive “public relations” campaign on behalf of the existence of humanoid “aliens” from somewhere out there, at least as if to try to ensure that they seem real in our minds, that we’re not uncomfortable with their existence.

Real “UFO’s”?

I’ll conclude this aside with two true stories pertaining to another type of “ufo” that may be a little more real than the bug-eyed grays in their metallic discs.

In the mid-1990’s I was visiting a friend who was living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Mike. I’d known him for several years and I know that if he was bullshitting me, I’d know or it he’d tell me. He told me of how once a few months earlier he and some friends had been driving back to Santa Fe after a ski trip up into Colorado. They were driving down Highway 285 at night. This is an extremely beautiful and very remote road roughly paralleling Interstate 25 from Denver to Santa Fe.

Mike said that all of a sudden, in the middle of nowhere, a luminous object appeared and “flew” along right next to the car, only a few meters away. He and the other guys were totally freaked out. Mike said they were on the verge of panic and he said “Don’t look at it and it’ll go away!” Right…as if you could look away from something like that!!!

When I asked him to describe it, he said it was roughly spherical, maybe three to five meters in diameter. He said it looked a little like an eye-ball, with pulsing luminescent fibers in it, kind of orangish-yellow in colour. He kept driving and it stayed right with them for a few minutes, then vanished. He also swore on a stack of Bibles that he was stone cold sober at the time.

Also in the mid-1990’s I was visiting a friend of mine in San Francisco who had been a close friend of Jose Arguelles for years and had just returned from a trip down to Mexico with him. The topic of “ufo’s” came up, and Mark asked me if I wanted to see some photos that someone had given them down there. I opened the folder and looked at several colour prints of what appeared to be something roughly similar to what Mike had described from their New Mexico encounter: a luminous object, more organic than mechanical, yellow-orange in colour, with barely discernible fibers inside. This one was more elongated than spherical, and appeared to be hovering just beyond where the highway in the foreground went around the mountain-side. Mark said the photos were taken by someone they knew and trusted, and that it was, indeed, a “ufo.” So maybe Jose is right after all.

The part I found most interesting, however, was Mark’s response when I asked him if the Mexicans knew where the “ufo’s” came from. He said, “They come from inside the rocks.” Not another planet or galaxy, not another “time”, not even another “dimension”…they came out of the rocks.

Very interesting…maybe they are the “guardian beings” portrayed in the pictographs of Barrier Canyon, Utah, who were “released” when “precious things were dug from the ground” at Black Mesa, on the Hopi reservation, and used to create the first atomic weapons.

The Reason for an “E.T.” Agenda?

I think it’s very clear that “someone” on this planet wants everyone else to believe in the reality of reasonably humanoid aliens, with big eyes, distorted heads and growths on their faces. Their agenda? Only time will tell. A massive amount of evidence exists that all this is the result of a massive and on-going “reality orchestration” campaign that began with Roswell in 1947. Check out the research of Jacques Valle and Dave Emory for what I think is the true story of “E.T.”

For insight into “who” may be behind the “alien” scam, read the quotation below, which is supposedly from Carol Rosin, who was Dr. Werner van Braun’s personal secretary for the last few years of his life. Van Braun had been a top Nazi SS scientist and developed the V-2 rocket (which significantly was designed as much for it’s psychological ability to terrify as much as it was to blow things up!) before being imported into America to head NASA.

“What was most interesting to me was a repetitive sentence that he said to me over and over again during the approximately four years that I had the opportunity to work with him. He said the strategy that was being used to educate the public and decision makers was to use scare tactics. That was how we identify an enemy. The strategy that Werner Von Braun taught me was that first the Russians are going to be considered to be the enemy. In fact, in 1974, they were the enemy, the identified enemy. We were told that they had “killer satellites”. We were told that they were coming to get us and control us-that they were “Commies.”

Then terrorists would be identified, and that was soon to follow. We heard a lot about terrorism. Then we were going to identify third-world country ‘crazies.’ We now call them Nations of Concern. But he said that would be the third enemy against whom we would build space-based weapons.

The next enemy was asteroids. Now, at this point he kind of chuckled the first time he said it. Asteroids- against asteroids we are going to build space-based weapons.

And the funniest one of all was what he called aliens, extraterrestrials. That would be the final scare. And over and over and over during the four years that I knew him and was giving speeches for him, he would bring up that last card. ‘And remember Carol, the last card is the alien card. We are going to have to build space-based weapons against aliens and all of it is a lie.’ “

It sounded like van Braun knew the blue-print well, a Nazi blue-print being re-enacted at the next level today.

And with Osama now dead, again, for the what, fifth or sixth time…you KNOW he’s not going to be happy about having been killed so many times…”they” will now have to deploy another, bigger and scarier “bogey” to terrify what’s left of the public mind: the threat of an alien invasion.

Will the resurrected Osamessiah be piloting the entire fleet of saucers as they descend on America…using his state-of-the-art laptop, the same one he used to orchestrate 9/11? Will Obama save the day? Will Obama be piloting the saucers? Homer Simpson? You never know these days.

To put the icing on the cake as it were, it’s not impossible that Jose Arguelles was involved in covert mind-control operations, along with people like James Hurtak, Richard Hoagland (both with histories involving the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and both proponents of the “face on Mars”), probably beginning no later than the writing of The Mayan Factor, where, as I mentioned before, the “ufo” non-sense made it’s major debut in his work. In an interesting book entitled The Stargate Conspiracy, investigative journalists Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince connect the dots with a lot of these “new age” gurus, the “alien” agenda, and the legacy of the CIA’s notorious MK-Ultra mind-control operation, whose various isotopes have decayed into on-going daughter projects, most of which remain unknown to outsiders. But the signatures abound, of a weird intersection of “occult” and “absurd.”

In conclusion, as I see it, Jose Arguelles was a fantastic and visionary artist who somehow “sold out”, if not to “occult” interests, at least to absurdity. I do think it’s conceivable that the Apollo moon-walks were in fact contrived by Stanley Kubrick, and that the lunar missions were a psychological operation, especially given Werner van Braun’s Nazi background. I also believe that the majority of “ufo” sightings, disclosures and so on are complete rubbish, and disguises for nefarious human activity, BUT that other, unexplained phenomena do exist, such as the similar “objects” (beings?) seen by my friend in southern Colorado and photographed by Jose’s friend in Mexico. These do not appear to be the product of human mind-control operations or engineering.

But appearances can be misleading. Those photos could have been fake, and Jose may not be dead. I didn’t see the body. But I do know he did exist, because I met him a few times. This much I can be sure of.

We as humans continue to go to extraordinary lengths to fool ourselves, yet the realities of the inner and outer cosmos remain not only unknown, but unknowable.

We must wake up. Right now, we live in a world where human consciousness basically is a function of what we call “mass mind.” The mass mind is controlled and manipulated by – and believes in – governments and the whole range of institutions that are the key factors in modern life. Governments, institutions and the mass-media continuously put out information of a negative nature, negative energy, so that mass mind thrives on negative energy. Governments and institutions support this creation of negativity, and so humanity as a whole is in the grip of a very bad type of cultural hypnosis or civilizational trance. What matters is that we wake up so that we can enjoy the transiting of the beam. We have created such an imbalance through our technological binge, depletion of resources, and pollutions of the planet that we must wake up if we want to continue enjoying the planet. Our waking up will mean that we actually see that technology can’t help us and that we have to go beyond it. If we don’t wake up, the planet will naturally self-destruct because it is already so far out of balance.

We’re precisely at the point in time where the difference between a considerable number of us waking up and taking command and not waking up is the difference between the planet going into self-destruction and the planet continuing on its evolutionary path. To continue with the image of spaceship Earth, although we have used up the reserve energy supplies, we still have the central source, the sun, and our own very sophisticated bio-psychic instrumentation, our very beings, our human bodies. In terms of spaceship Earth, the wrong crew is in command, and it’s time for a mutiny.

PARALLELS AMONG THE MAYAN CALENDAR, THE I CHING, AND THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS

There are actually many points of convergence among the Mayan galactic code, the I Ching, the Book of Revelations, and many other systems. The reasons for this are very easy to explain. We’re all operating in the same field. Be it ancient China, ancient Egypt, ancient Israel, or ancient Mexico, the human receivers picked up the same information beams, translating them into particular languages conditioned by already-developed beliefs in those particular areas. In one case, you have the development of the I Ching in China with its mathematical code, which is exactly the same as the mathematical code of DNA and exactly the same as the mathematical code of the harmonic number progression of the Mayan code, a binary progression. Or you have the mathematical code of the Book of Revelations, which is based on 7 and 13, and 144 and 144,000; it’s the same number code as the Mayan code.

The Mayan code is the master code. It’s the galactic code. It’s the master program. The other codes are there, as I said, because humans everywhere can pick up on the same information from the same beams that are affecting the planet. Most of these codes and systems, like the Book of Revelations and the I Ching, were developed several thousand years ago. In these earlier phases before technology became the dominant factor, human receivers tended to be more operative. Right now, our receivers are quite shut down. There are people awake, here and there, making efforts to get other people to awaken. From the point of view of the code, being awake means opening up our receivers. This can only be done by having a genuine change of heart; a change of heart about what is happening in our lives, about what is happening on our planet, and realizing that if we are to continue, we must open up our receivers so that we can begin to receive the information and know what to do next. One might ask, If this is all laid out, what can we do? The fact is, it is all laid out only in some regards. We are so asleep to what is laid out for us that we can’t take advantage of it.

The Maya made a visitation. They made a very skilful intervention into the biosphere of this planet and left a civilization behind that looks a lot like other civilizations. It’s very carefully disguised. Through my study of the calendar and my study of other code systems and calendars on the planet, I saw that all of them were contained in the Mayan code – particularly the DNA code and the I Ching code, which is contained as the central component, which I show in The Mayan Factor. There are no other codes like this on the planet.

GALACTIC SYNCHRONIZATION AND UFOS

In 2012 we will be at a place on the spiral, where only maybe one turn up on this particular beam, where we were in 3113 B.C., and what that means is that there’s a fresh start, and I think it means for ourselves here that there’s an evolutionary jump. The cycle that I’ve been talking about, the Great Cycle, is only a sub-factor of another larger cycle and all cycles – they go up (macro), and they go down (micro). The larger cycle that we’re dealing with is an approximately 26,000-year cycle that also ends in 2012. If you go back 26,000 years, this cycle roughly encompasses the evolutionary stage of Homo Sapiens. The peak of the last Ice Age was in 24,000 B.C. This is when what we call “modern humanity” emerged. So, this 26,000-year cycle actually encompasses five Great Cycles. We’re in the fifth and last of a set of Great Cycles that began in 24,000 B.C. It’s on this basis that we’re looking at 2012 as being a very, very critical junction. It’s what I refer to as “galactic synchronization”, and it also is a major evolutionary shift. The next evolutionary shift will occur in 2012.

There are other dimensions of reality, and there are more advanced stages of being and intelligence than ours. The universe is benign and compassionate. No one’s out to destroy us. UFO activity has increased since we entered a critical pollution stage, which followed the introduction of radioactive waste into the environment in 1945. It’s been since that point that the modern phenomenon of UFO’s has been with us. There is definitely a relationship between the Mayan factor and the UFO phenomenon, and I think that we can anticipate that the UFO activity will intensify. We must understand and realize that we are dealing with galactic civilization. That realization will facilitate a return to our own highest being, to our own receivers opening up, and the information, which right now we refer to as the information of the Mayan factor, will be information easily accessible to everybody.
